Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess an eligible engineering qualification.

For admission to the examination, a candidate must generally have obtained an Engineering degree from a recognised university/institution in India or possess one of the other qualifications specified in the official notification.

UPSC ESE 2027 Negative Marking

There is negative marking in the objective papers.

For an incorrect answer, one-third (1/3) of the marks assigned to that question is deducted.
