This recruitment fills entry-level technical and administrative roles in POWERGRID’s regional offices and projects across India (Northern, Southern, Western, Eastern, North-Eastern Regions, etc.). Vacancies are region-specific and category-wise (UR, EWS, OBC, SC, ST, PwBD). Selected candidates will undergo one-year training and, upon successful completion, will be absorbed as Junior Engineer (Gr-IV) / Junior Officer (Gr-IV) or Junior Technician.
Educational Qualifications (full-time regular courses only; higher qualifications like B.Tech not allowed for most posts):
- Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Survey): 3-year Diploma in relevant discipline with minimum 70% marks (UR/OBC/EWS) or pass marks (SC/ST/PwBD).
- Junior Officer Trainee (HR): 3-year full-time Graduate Degree (BBA/BBM/BBS or equivalent) with 60% marks (UR/OBC/EWS).
- Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Inter CA / Inter CMA.
- Junior Technician Trainee (Survey): 2-year ITI (Surveyor).
Salary & Benefits (IDA pay scale):
- During 1-year training:

- Junior Technician Trainee: ₹21,000 basic + IDA + HRA + perks.
- After absorption:

- Junior Technician (W3 level): ₹21,500–₹74,000 (annual CTC ~₹10.9 Lakhs).
